Not sure you've read this of mine from a a couple of years ago (our photographs almost identical).

And Mr Swift was of the 18th century and the writer of Gullivers Travels. His poetry (and much of his writing) is on the satirical side.

Oh wow, how funny, they really are almost identical! I am familiar with the song, and in fact it has spent the last two years on a Spotify playlist made for me about my relationship! Haha. Funny how all these things always join up. I very much enjoyed that article of yours and would love to read more stories about your early working life in London - I could relate to that very specific feeling of an after-work stroll, watching the sunset on one of those bridges. It's lovely to know that in completely different lives in London at different times, there are all these correlations!

Enjoyed reading this eclectic mix, Mabel and I've always loved that view. Not that I could see so much of it when I moved to London. There was a railway track looking that way as the Hungerford Bridge only had a narrow walkway on one side (I started my working life in a building a 5 minute walk from where you were standing). I've not read or watched BaT but now I know it's about a cat I'm in 😉 and as to poetry and when it comes to Swift, it's Jonathan not Taylor for me ....

It's my favourite view of London! Always has been for me too - I don't know what it is about it! Closely tied with the view from the top of Primrose Hill or Parliament Hill at night. Wow, it sounds like London has a bit of history from all our early lives - how lovely to hear about the very beginning of yours! :)

Hahahaha I am glad you appreciated the Lite™️ comedy about the cat - I've definitely found my audience! Glad you know what I mean about Swift, but forgive me because I feel I'm having an intellectual shortcoming here because I'm not sure which Jonathon you mean, remind me?
